On Saturday 27th August 2011 a golf classic was held in scenic Mulranny Golf Links as a fundraiser for Addergoole Titanic Society starting with first team teeing off at 8.00a.m.

Golfers experienced two seasons in one day - Summer and Winter. Early morning the sun shone with golfers in short sleeves enjoying their game while in the afternoon raingear, hats and coloured umbrellas appeared all over the course. Thirteen teams took part and everyone enjoyed the golf, the scenery and the warm welcoming athmosphere in Mulranny Clubhouse.

Presentation of prizes took place in Murphy's Bar Lahardane where participants and friends enjoyed a barbecue and drinks.

The Organisers would like to thank Mulranny Golf Links, all our sponsors, Michael Murphy for his hospitality on the night and most of all the golfers who took part on our fundraising day for the Addgerggole Titanic Society. It was a great success thanks to you all.
